Inspired by Syrie Maugham, the wife of the great writer Somerset Maugham, who was a great decorator in the 1930’s and 1940’s. She was also known for really luxurious and comfortable sofas that she would have custom made for her clients. The Syrie Maugham Sofa has a beautiful skirt made of individual panels filled with luxurious padding. The back is made like a down-filled duvet and is buttoned to the back. All of these details have created a really elegant and comfortable sofa. Medium Mahogany is the standard finish. Two 20-inch and two 5 1/2 x 17-inch 100% goose feather throw pillows and pleated dressmaker skirt standard.
