Description
The Townsend Wing Chair was inspired by the original antique frame attributed to John Townsend of Newport, Rhode Island. One characteristic for which he was noted is the stop-fluted leg of his “easy chair” now authentically reproduced by Hickory Chair. Medium Mahogany is the standard finish. Spring-Down seat cushion standard. Parchment paint and optional NS-08 nail head trim shown. Also shown right, Special Construction version as the Townsend Tufted Settee. Settee shown as extended to 76-inches with hand-tufted back, seat, inside arms and wings. Optional Dark Walnut finish with NS-09 nail trim.
